All applications for analytical work must be submitted on-line, and accompanied by a detailed characterisation request form as per template below together with the following standard forms:

• Project Register Form
• User Form
• Characterisation Request Form
• Experimental Matrix Form

Please see our Terms of Use for more details. Once you have completed these forms use the on-line requests system (to the right of this page) to log your request for work.

Please note the following:

• Primary researcher/researcher refers to the main researcher involved in communication with the CHRTEM. In the case of student projects, the primary researcher is the student.
• User forms are to be completed by both the primary researcher and the supervisor (in the case of a student project).
• User forms only need to be completed once per person (and when any details change).
• Both a new project register form and experimental matrix form needs to be completed for each new project (even if it is for the same researcher).
